Adam Desiato is the son of a judge, Michael Desiato, who hit with his car a young man, Rocco Baxter, who was driving a motorcycle, and he was injured very badly. Adam was trying to reach his inhaler when he hit Rocco. At first, he went to help him, even called 9-1-1, but because he couldn’t breathe, he left him to find his inhaler. Then he decided to leave the scene, and go to his house and destroy the evidence. When his father arrived, he reveals to him what he did, and Michael tells him that they will have to go to the police station and tell the truth. When they arrive there, Michael goes first inside, and he finds out who the boy’s father is, Jimmy Baxter, the head of the most vicious crime family in the history of New Orleans. So Michael decides to leave with Adam, and cover-up the crime, and destroy any evidence he can think of.
