Months later, Alexandria, Sanctuary, Hilltop, and Kingdom with Rick’s guidance are becoming societies which they grow their foods, having electricity, and help each other. At Hilltop, Maggie has won the election against Gregory, but an incident where a Hilltop’s young man is killed by walkers at their journey back from D.C. to gather farmers tools to help Sanctuary to cultivate their food will make Gregory use the kid’s father to try to kill Maggie, as he also tries, and forced Maggie to hang him. Because nothing can grow in Sanctuary, some people write on the walls for Saviors to save them, which makes Daryl, who was put in charge of them by Rick, to want to return to Maggie and Hilltop. Ezekiel asks from Carol to marry him, but she declines for now and she becomes the new Sanctuary leader, while Maggie reveals to Rick that she will no longer help Sanctuary with not taking something in return.
