The Sandman Season 1 Blu-ray (11mm)

In 1916, Sir Roderick Burgess is performing a ritual in which he hopes to capture Death and blackmail him to return to life his dead son Randall. Instead, he captures Dream, the King of another world, the Dreaming, where humans go when they dream, and where other Endless live there, Death’s family like Despair, Desire, Destiny, and more. But some of the residents of the Dreaming, like a nightmare known as the Corinthian, comes to the real world and kill humans, something Dream doesn’t allow. Corinthian helps Roderick by telling him how to keep Dream prisoner, and to take his vestments, the ruby, the pouch, and his helm. Dream refuses to speak to Roderick, or to accept his deal, and after 10 years Roderick dies and leaves his other son Alex in charge, after Roderick’s pregnant lover takes his money and the vestments. A century after his capture, Dream manages to escape and returns to the Dreaming where it is abandoned. Now, Dream has to find and bring everyone back to his kingdom, away from the real world.
