Dan Chase is a former skilled CIA operative who has been living off the grid for thirty years with his two dogs. His wife passed away a few years ago, and he has a daughter Emily, who lives in a different town. One night an intruder tries to capture Dan but the dogs prevent him, and Dan kills him. Dan understands that he must leave because the past has found him. FBI Assistant Director Harold Harper is asked to help Raymond Waters and his team to capture Dan. Because Dan and Harold were working together in the past, and they have secrets Harold wants to keep hidden, informs Dan about a tracker on his car, and asks him to disappear again, or he will have to use Dan’s daughter to find him. But Dan, after Emily’s suggestion, doesn’t run, but attacks back.
