From the year 2031, where the Central City is defenseless and ready to be destroyed, Despero arrives at the present, a powerful being who was born among the stars, to kill the Flash for causing the destruction in 2031. Ray Palmer is also there for a tech convention and as the Atom tries to help Flash against Despero. For a moment they stop him. But when Despero returns, Flash asks him to see inside him and prove him wrong. Despero gives him 7 days to prove that he is not the monster he witnessed at his time. Meanwhile, Central City Citizen Media has become bigger, more successful, with more employees, and Iris promotes Allegra as the Supervising Editor to help her focus on her administrative duties. Also, Iris has interviewed Captain Kramer and asked for her decision to disband the city’s Meta- Task Force.
