In the late 70’s, when the government in Mexico City decided to find and burn any marijuana fields in Sinaloa and stop the drug trade, Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo of Sinaloa State Police decides it’s time to leave the police and to propose to the boss of Sinaloa’s marijuana organization to restart the business in Guadalajara. The boss sends Miguel and Don Neto to meet and make a deal with Naranjo brothers but when Hernin Naranjo refuses Miguel’s proposal Miguel kills him. As a result, he, Don Neto and Rafael are taken to meet El Azul or Commander, a DFS police agent who accepts Miguel’s proposal and becomes partner with him. Meanwhile, Kiki Camarena, an undercover D.E.A. agent asks for a transfer after his six-months undercover case was destroyed by local police officers in California, and he ends up to Guadalajara where he finds out that his job is only to gather information and getting close to local police officers.
