While Hope is still unconscious and Landon refuses to return back to life, Alaric asks his students to have a field day with games to forget and enjoy their lives. Unfortunately, not everyone, like Alyssa, is willing to forget what Josie did, despite Alaric reassures them that she is harmless now, and later they find out that she has no magic. Meanwhile, from the pit rises Nimue, The Lady Of The Lake, and later a monster who wants the Excalibur, but only a worthy one from the school can wield its power and save the world from darkness. While everyone tries to use the sword, in school Alaric and Rafael see The Necromancer and Landon arriving, and the Necromancer explains to them that in order to take the Black Magic he was promised, Landon has to return to life, which he refuses. Rafael tries to persuade him, in order for Hope to return back too if she feels he is alive.
