In 2016, historian Nate Heywood with the help of Oliver Queen locate the sunken Waverider, from 1942, and find only Mick aboard in stasis. Mick explains to them that, Rip's team were traveling through time dealing with aberrations. They learned that a nuclear bomb would be exploded in New York City in 1942, and traveled there, even though they were warned not to. Their plan was to stop the abduction of Einstein from the Nazis, and stop the bomb. But unfortunately, the save of Einstein, didn’t prevent the bomb, and Rip was forced to teleport all of them, off the Waverider, throughout time, except the injured Mick. Now Mick and Nate have to find them, while the Justice Society of America appears.
