It’s been three months, and Wednesday is preparing for war, while Shadow has found a steady job and feels nice. Laura is trying to bring Leprechaun back to life to get her revenge, but when she has no more choice, she removes her coin from inside of her to offer it to him. Meanwhile, Mr. World becomes Mrs. World and demands from her creations to continue with the SHARD project and prevent Wednesday’s influence and control the narrative. Technical Boy tries to make Bilquis join him and Mrs. World but she refuses. Wednesday approaches Shadow, confirms that he is his son, and asks him to help him at the war which is coming. He refuses, but he learns from another source that he has a destiny and that the questions he is looking for soon will be answered. Shadow decides to move away from Wednesday but he is forced to go where Wednesday wants him to.
